WHAT HAPPENS IN THESE SESSIONS?
Our mentoring groups are a warm and open space for young people to share any concerns on their minds on anything that is troubling them.
The sessions are based around positive mental health, life choices, healthy eating, future planning, and self-reflection. The sessions are designed to empower the young people; giving them the necessary tools, skills and competencies to overcome any challenges that life throws their way.
The community benefits tremendously from our mentoring programmes; even when we only mentor a handful of young people within an area, the positive impact that they go on to have is incredible.
At Empowr-U we believe that mentoring and coaching can bring about a range of benefits for young people, including for example improved relationships, increased communication skills and resilience. Our mentoring and coaching programs offer a variety of outlets for young people to discuss challenging topics or develop interpersonal skills.
